Will GPT-4 (ChatGPT) Replace Developer Jobs?

Artificial intelligence has come a long way in recent years, and one of the most exciting developments is OpenAI’s GPT-4. GPT-4 is the latest and most advanced natural language processing AI model to date, and OpenAI shared it with the world on March 15, 2023. This new AI model has been designed to be more advanced than its predecessor, the GPT-3, which has already revolutionized how we interact with technology.

Some of the new features that GPT-4 comes with include:

• The ability to understand more complex and nuanced inputs (in 26 languages)
• The ability to now accept not just text but also image inputs
• More steer-ability: You can now define what the AI should act as so that it doesn’t break character and stays in scope
• It’s safer and more censored

However, one of the demos that stood out was the conversion of a hand-sketched website mockup to a fully functional website by GPT-4. GPT-4 also created a Discord bot from scratch, and these moments within the demo have got developers and other stakeholders in the tech industry asking:
